Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree; Masters Degree preferred.
- At least 10 years of experience in architecting enterprise solution landscapes, especially with Salesforce, web, mobile, and connected ecosystems.
- Familiarity with customer experience technologies, CRM, marketing/sales automation, web content management, mobile solutions, and social engagement is preferred.
- Proven success in delivering complex, cross-functional programs.
- Strong background in technical design and architecture.
- Solid understanding of contemporary design patterns and practices, including the use of GenAI technologies to enhance business outcomes.
- Previous experience with Cloud-based technologies such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure Cloud, and Salesforce.com is highly desired.
- Significant hands-on experience in Salesforce development, including the deployment of highly scalable APIs, Apex Classes, and custom code.
- Proficiency with modern technology stacks, API strategies, microservices, public cloud, and relevant programming languages preferred.
Responsibilities
- Exhibit strong functional and architectural knowledge in Salesforce, Revenue Management, SaaS platforms, and integrated web and mobile systems.
- Lead technical projects across various product teams to architect, design, build, and scale innovative technology platforms.
- Develop and implement contemporary solution architectures that can adapt to evolving industry and market conditions, supporting Abbott’s digital transformation.
- Transform business requirements into detailed application designs, system integrations, and IT solutions for large-scale complexities.
- Collaborate with both Business and IT leaders to tackle digital business needs, use cases, and requirements.
- Review and validate Architecture Design, Software Design, and Integration Design Documents.
- Conduct code reviews, resolve coding conflicts from parallel development sessions, and ensure compliance with coding standards.
- Evaluate and propose scalable, secure, and compliant architectural solutions that align with Salesforce best practices and Abbott’s enterprise architecture standards.
- Conduct impact analyses for new features, integrations, and platform upgrades.
- Act as the technical expert by researching, assessing, and implementing cutting-edge technology platforms.
- Foster best engineering practices through effective design decisions, processes, and tools.
- Provide technical leadership in areas such as architecture, integration hubs, technical trade-offs, and best practices adoption.
- Drive continuous technology and process improvement initiatives, including governance over technology platforms.
- Successfully balance and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
- Utilize Agile software development methodologies (preferred).
- Facilitate workshops to gather requirements, create visual process flows, and clearly communicate proposed solutions to project teams.
- Travel domestically and internationally, up to approximately 10% of the time, as required for project needs.
- Ensure adherence to applicable Corporate and Divisional policies and procedures.
