Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a technology or management field (preferred)
- Over 5 years of IT experience with a focus on cloud cost and billing for AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Strong technical expertise in cloud billing tools and cost optimization techniques (e.g., Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, CUDs)
- Proficient in Power BI with experience in data modeling for reporting purposes
- Exceptional communication abilities with a capacity to present to executive leadership
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric and advanced analytics platforms (preferred)
- Familiarity with database structures and reporting view needs (preferred)
- Knowledge of FinOps principles and FOCUS standards (preferred)
- Proven track record in leading multi-cloud cost optimization initiatives in large-scale environments (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Act as the subject matter expert for cloud cost optimization across AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Conduct Cloud Business Reviews with technical and business stakeholders to uncover and realize cost-saving opportunities
- Create and sustain a self-service cloud cost reporting platform that provides near real-time insights
- Promote the adoption of the FinOps Open Cost and Usage Specification (FOCUS) reporting standard
- Collaborate with automation teams to design and manage analytics solutions based on Microsoft Fabric
- Stay updated on vendor roadmaps and FinOps best practices to ensure ongoing improvement
- Share insights and recommendations with senior leadership
