Requirements
Must:
- Mastery of network management systems and operating systems with relevant education and experience
- Minimum of 16 years experience in a related field, with a mix of education and work history
- At least 5 years of significant experience with ServiceNow
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification required
- At least one advanced ServiceNow certification is mandatory
- Proven leadership skills in managing teams
- Self-motivated individual able to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, and SDLC methodologies
- Capacity to analyze complex technical tasks and lead projects
- Expertise in automating ServiceNow technologies for enterprise solutions
- Experience in developing automated testing and validation methods
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Exceptional communication skills for client interactions
- Knowledge of ITSM tools, especially ServiceNow
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Familiarity with system architecture and integration
- Understanding of databases, particularly MariaDB
- Cross-platform experience including Windows, Linux, Juniper, and Cisco
- Ability in scripting within ServiceNow using languages like JavaScript, Java, Python, Perl, or PowerShell
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with DoD 8140.03 (8570) IAT Level 2 standards
- Guide team members in deploying, managing, and integrating ServiceNow tools on RHEL and Windows systems
- Utilize Agile, Scrum, and SDLC methodologies for project coordination and delivery
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Technical Leads to communicate team progress and risks
- Oversee integration with Cisco Network Services, GOTS, and other enterprise tools
- Ensure technical documentation is accurate and comprehensive for operations users
- Monitor application performance and address emerging issues proactively
- Lead efforts to secure systems in line with Risk Management Framework (RMF) guidelines
- Mentor the team on automation practices using modern tools like Ansible, Python, and Terraform
- Supervise troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues
- Conduct system performance analyses and optimization activities
- Manage engineering projects throughout the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Deliver engineered solutions as deployable packages for production transition
- Adapt to additional tasks in a dynamic environment as required
