Requirements

Must:
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and fault isolation of IT business systems. - Strong understanding of the OSI model and routing protocols such as EIGRP, OSPF, MPLS, BGP, and LDP. - Total of 10 years of relevant experience, which can be a combination of education and work history (e.g., High School diploma with 10 years of experience, Associates degree with 8 years, Bachelors with 6 years, Masters with 4 years, or PhD with 2 years). - Ability to work a shift schedule that encompasses weekends and holidays. - Willingness to work night shifts from 6 PM to 6 AM, four days per week, with training on the day shift for approximately 6-8 weeks.

Responsibilities

- Deliver Tier 2 support for local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN), customer networks, and other data communication systems. - Coordinate and implement network security protocols to safeguard data, software, and hardware. - Analyze user requests for network upgrades or additions to assess performance impact and provide technical guidance. - Utilize software and hardware skills in the development and integration of information management applications. - Ensure systems comply with standards for open systems architectures and reference models. - Evaluate and recommend commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) applications and methodologies that support interoperable IT solutions. - Analyze and validate reusable software and hardware components for integration into information management designs.

Our competitive salary range for this position is between $79,300 and $175,207, depending on your experience and qualifications, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
