Requirements
Must:
- 10 years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience (Doctorate + 3 years, Masters + 4 years, Bachelors + 6 years, Associates + 8 years, or HS diploma + 10 years)
- Compliance with DoD 8140 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant ServiceNow experience
- Experience in the concept, design, engineering, production, and sustainment phases of ServiceNow system development lifecycle
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or SDLC methodologies
- Ability to work autonomously on complex technical tasks
- Competency in processing and analyzing information submitted by customers
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Proficiency in working collaboratively in a professional office setting
- Adaptability to dynamic environments and shifting priorities
- Fluency in verbal and written communication
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Responsibilities
- Deploy, administer, develop, and integrate the ServiceNow suite on RHEL and Windows
- Collaborate with database developers on MariaDB connectivity and performance requirements
- Engage in Agile/Scrum and SDLC processes for planning, building, testing, and delivering ServiceNow features
- Communicate status, risks, and technical challenges with Project Managers and Technical Leads
- Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise tools using REST/SOAP APIs
- Create and maintain technical documentation such as design specifications and user guides
- Monitor application performance and availability, building dashboards and alerts
- Implement security hardening and compliance controls by producing artifacts and remediating findings
- Contribute to automation of ServiceNow deployments by developing scripts in Ansible, Python, Terraform, and PowerShell
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues; document Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- Conduct system performance analysis and tuning to enhance configurations
- Execute engineering tasks across the SDLC, adhering to change/release processes
- Package and deliver well-engineered solutions with minimal manual steps
- Perform additional duties as assigned to adapt to changing business and technical requirements
