Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree (B.S.) in a related field.
- Over 10 years of experience in network architecture or cybersecurity engineering.
- CISSP certification.
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification.
- Desired: experience supporting CSSP systems in DoD or similar complex settings.
- Desired: ITIL v4 Certification.
- Desired: comprehensive knowledge in crafting and enforcing cybersecurity policies and governance frameworks.
- Desired: practical experience with weapon systems security and compliance.
- Desired: expertise in system security documentation, including SOPs, TTPs, and POA&Ms.
- Desired: proficiency in conducting security audits and ensuring patch compliance.
- Desired: skilled in using automated scanning and reporting tools for ongoing monitoring.
- Desired: strong research capabilities with a focus on industry best practices.
- Desired: excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teams.
- Desired: experience in contributing to technical discussions and working groups.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers and clients regarding cybersecurity policies, procedures, governance, and threat/vulnerability management.
- Offer expert guidance on CSSP (Cybersecurity Service Provider) systems concerning operations, maintenance, and upgrades.
- Assist the CSSP Infrastructure Manager in upholding system architecture and maintaining documentation, including lessons learned and Authority to Operate (ATO) records.
- Conduct regular audits to confirm secure system operations and the enforcement of information security policies.
- Develop, communicate, and implement security strategies for data, software applications, hardware, and telecommunications.
- Provide security engineering and oversight for weapon systems security across complex weapon platforms.
- Continuously monitor system resources with automated scanning tools and implement reporting to support cybersecurity authorizations.
- Ensure patch compliance using approved technology solutions.
- Take part in technical discussions, trade studies, and working groups while researching best practices.
- Draft and maintain system security documentation, such as SOPs, TTPs, and POA&Ms, through creating and reviewing guidance.
- Commit to shift work to ensure 24x7 coverage and operational support.
