Requirements

Must:
- Must be a US Citizen - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field - At least 3 years of professional experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or infrastructure automation - Active TS/SCI security clearance is required - Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and architecture; AWS experience is a plus - Proficient with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep - Experience with implementing and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines with integrated security measures - Practical knowledge of Docker and container orchestration platforms; familiarity with Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) is preferred - Understanding of DevSecOps practices, RMF/DIACAP processes, and DoD/USAF security requirements - Background in automating infrastructure deployment and configuration management processes - Strong scripting skills in languages like PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automation purposes - Proficient with version control systems, particularly Git, and understanding of branching strategies - Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor or similar platforms - Knowledge of container security practices and vulnerability management techniques - Experience working within Agile development environments and collaborating with diverse teams - Strong problem-solving skills to address infrastructure and platform issues effectively

Responsibilities

- Develop and automate secure DevSecOps pipelines with integrated security throughout the software delivery lifecycle - Collaborate with developers to streamline building, scanning, and testing processes through automated pipelines and CI/CD practices - Create advanced tools and methods to facilitate automated deployment workflows - Implement best practices for DevSecOps and enforce compliance with established standards - Oversee continuous integration and deployment processes with integrated security measures - Automate deployment and management of resources across various Azure cloud instances using IaC tools based on senior guidance - Ensure consistency and repeatability of infrastructure through automated procedures - Design automated deployment strategies following guidelines from Lead Architects and senior engineers - Partner with Cloud Operations/VDI Team to enhance resource utilization, performance, and cost-effectiveness through automated solutions - Verify that infrastructure deployments align with security protocols and organizational standards through automated validation - Assist in developing solutions for system failover, high availability, and deployment/upgrade models for applications - Implement security controls and automated scans to comply with Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements - Actively work within an Agile development framework to safeguard the organizations data, network, and IT infrastructure against threats - Integrate automated security assessments and compliance evaluations into deployment pipelines - Collaborate with the Cyber/ATO team to execute security protocols and oversee ongoing compliance - Stay updated on RMF/DIACAP accreditation processes to ensure pipeline adherence - Aid in finalizing cybersecurity documentation per DoD and USAF policies - Incorporate security compliance into automated infrastructure setup and management - Enact containerization strategies utilizing Docker and Azure Kubernetes Services with built-in security measures - Facilitate secure container lifecycle processes, including image vulnerability management and security scanning - Manage container orchestration for security, scalability, and operational efficiency - Educate development teams on secure containerization practices and provide troubleshooting assistance - Uphold cybersecurity performance across infrastructure components - Collaborate with development teams to enhance monitoring and reporting capabilities using observability tools - Support the establishment of security baselines with automated alerts for compliance and operational health - Implement automated monitoring tasks for the health of deployment pipelines and security adherence - Provide technical assistance for the platform, troubleshooting issues and escalating complex challenges as necessary - Engage in an Agile setting, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure platforms - Work alongside senior platform engineers to grasp technical requirements and deploy effective solutions - Undertake additional duties as assigned
