Requirements

Must:
- Must be a US citizen - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline - At least 1 year of professional experience in DevOps, platform engineering, infrastructure operations, or a similar field; recent graduates with pertinent internships or coursework will be considered - Active TS/SCI security clearance is required - Foundational understanding of Azure cloud services; experience with AWS is advantageous - Basic familiarity with Linux/Windows administration, scripting (PowerShell, Python, or Bash), and version control (Git) - Basic knowledge of Docker and container technologies; exposure to Kubernetes is preferred - Understanding of CI/CD concepts with a desire to explore automation practices - Awareness of basic security protocols and a commitment to learning DevSecOps and DoD compliance - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly grasp technical concepts - Effective verbal and written communication skills for teamwork

Responsibilities

- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 operations support for the platform, diagnosing issues and executing operational and maintenance tasks to ensure system uptime - Monitor platform performance with Azure Monitor and other observability tools, responding proactively to incidents and alerts - Assist with automated DevSecOps pipelines and CI/CD procedures, addressing pipeline challenges under the guidance of senior engineers - Support the deployment and upkeep of infrastructure using Terraform, ARM/Bicep, and other Infrastructure as Code tools - Contribute to containerization efforts using Docker and Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) - Collaborate within an Agile development team to uphold infrastructure security and compliance with DoD standards - Aid in the implementation of automation and monitoring solutions for deployment pipeline integrity - Document incident responses, troubleshooting methodologies, and resolution procedures - Work in partnership with development, security, and operations teams to enhance platform functionalities - Perform additional tasks as assigned

This role involves both Tier 2 and Tier 3 operational support while gaining insights into site reliability engineering practices in cloud-native environments.
