We are looking for candidates with proven experience in AI/ML engineering, accompanied by a strong portfolio showcasing completed projects. Proficiency in programming languages, particularly Python, is essential, and familiarity with VBA would be advantageous. A solid grasp of database design principles along with experience in SQL is required. We prefer candidates who are knowledgeable about TensorFlow, Spark, and similar machine learning frameworks. Strong analytical skills to effectively interpret complex datasets are vital. Additionally, candidates should have experience in model deployment and maintenance in production settings, paired with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication abilities are necessary to collaborate effectively with various team members.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will design and implement machine learning models using frameworks like TensorFlow and Spark. You will be tasked with developing algorithms for analytics and unsupervised learning to derive insights from complex datasets. Collaboration with data engineers will be crucial to ensure optimal database design for model deployment. You will utilize Python and SQL for data manipulation, analysis, and model integration. Conducting performance tuning and optimization of existing models to enhance accuracy and efficiency is a key part of the job. Documentation of the model development processes, including version control practices, will be required. Additionally, we expect you to mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices in AI/ML development, participate in code reviews, and contribute to improving our engineering processes.
