Requirements
Must:
- Over 8 years of experience in IT
- Minimum of 5 years in Calypso Development
- Proficiency in Core Java as a Calypso Developer
- Practical experience with Calypso platform and its version upgrades
- Extensive knowledge of Java EE and strong familiarity with Spring Framework
- Understanding of database design, SQL skills, and the ability to create Stored Procedures
- Basic knowledge of Unix commands and experience with batch scripting languages (Shell, Perl, Python)
- Strong analytical skills to comprehend technical designs and convert them into effective solutions
- Eagerness to learn new technologies to fulfill business objectives
- Exceptional communication and technical writing abilities
- Preferred: Experience with Source Code Management solutions (e.g., GIT, Perforce, CVS)
- Preferred: Familiarity with common DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Sonar, and Jira
- Knowledge of financial technologies, including FpML and the Swift protocol
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Calypso solutions for our finance industry client
- Upgrade and maintain Calypso platform versions
- Collaborate with team members to ensure best practices in software development
- Translate technical specifications into functional Calypso applications
- Engage in troubleshooting and problem-solving within the development process
- Write and maintain technical documentation regarding software development processes
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Stay updated on new technologies relevant to our business needs
