Requirements

Must:
- I hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT Security. - I have a minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in product security. - I possess an understanding of threat modeling, security vulnerabilities, attacker exploit techniques, and methods for their remediation. - I am knowledgeable about DevSecOps concepts/principles and cloud-native services, enabling secure development and deployment of applications in the Cloud. - I have practical experience in information security vulnerability management, incident response, application security, and/or product security, including familiarity with tools such as Qualys and JFrog Xray. - I am an excellent communicator, able to adapt my messaging to executive, technical, and non-technical audiences. - I have experience working with hardware that utilizes embedded software, which is a plus. - I am aware of regulatory guidelines and standards such as ISA/IEC 62443 and SEMI Standards, which is also a plus. - I hold a certification in any security area, which is advantageous. - I have experience working with manufacturing or other industrial equipment, as well as experience in the semiconductor industry, both of which are beneficial.

Responsibilities

- I will partner with various stakeholder groups to promote and build a culture of security, ensuring that products with embedded software are designed and built securely. - I will work with product teams across Applied to integrate secure by design and secure by default concepts. - I will provide technical advice to product teams on secure product design requirements, interpreting customer requirements and translating them into product security needs. - I will identify gaps in the vulnerability management and product security incident response workflows and lead efforts to optimize these processes. - I will oversee vulnerability management, patch management, and product security incident response processes. - I will collaborate with a global team to implement and monitor security controls to proactively identify product security issues. - I will interpret results from security tools and penetration testing, communicating remediation and risk mitigation advice to stakeholders. - I will partner with software development teams to help implement secure Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) concepts such as training, identifying security requirements, threat modeling, and security testing. - I will work with Information Security and Information Technology teams to build and maintain controls that manage various risks, including application and cyber risks. - I will collaborate across teams to develop and define project/program information security metrics and dashboards.
