Requirements
Must:
- BS degree in computer science or engineering with 10 years of experience, or MS degree with 5 years of experience
- MBA preferred in a related field
- Over 5 years of functional/configuration experience in SAP consulting, systems integration, or architecture role
- Minimum of 3 life cycle implementations of SAP ECC
- Preferred experience with SAP S/4 HANA
- Experience in supporting manufacturing plant personnel with everyday ERP processes
- Flexibility, adaptability, and focus on process improvement
- Strong understanding of SAP best practices
- Expert in analyzing, creating system specifications, and developing tests to implement business solutions using SAP technologies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality
- Strong written and verbal communication capabilities
- Experience in project management and teamwork
- Ability to evaluate and manage technical risks and challenges
Responsibilities
- Serve as an internal consultant and design architect for SAP solutions in designated modules
- Manage the entire systems development lifecycle from gathering requirements to implementing various functional architecture solutions
- Convert overall business process requirements into SAP configurations
- Provide guidance on managing configuration and testing within the SAP environment
- Collaborate with Functional Architects and Business Analysts to ensure complete process integration and uniformity
- Identify enhancement opportunities to standardize and improve processes and system configurations that align with business management objectives
- Collaborate with Functional Architects and Business Analysts to ensure integrated process consistency
- Develop, prototype, test, and implement solution improvements to enhance stability, usability, and functionality for end users
- Lead and support project initiatives aimed at expanding SAP solution usage to enhance processes across the organization
- Understand non-SAP business systems and their integration with SAP, assisting in their management within an overall solution portfolio
- Deliver functional support and leadership to the SAP User Community including liaising with third-party support providers, defining SOPs, gathering business requirements, documenting functional designs and specifications, and directing enhancements
- Investigate and analyze both basic and complex issues surrounding our business processes and systems
- Mentor business and functional team members to boost their SAP competencies
- Adhere to company policies and safety regulations in performing all duties
- Carry out other necessary responsibilities as required
