Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science or engineering with 10 years of experience, or a Masters degree with 5 years of experience.
- MBA in a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of functional/configuration expertise in SAP consulting, systems integration, or architecture roles.
- At least 3 full lifecycle implementations of SAP ECC; SAP S/4 HANA experience is advantageous.
- Experience assisting manufacturing plant personnel with daily ERP system tasks.
- Strong flexibility, adaptability, and a focus on process enhancement.
- Solid understanding of SAP best practices.
- Proficient in analyzing, creating system specifications, developing tests, and delivering business solutions using SAP technologies.
- Technical skills in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication abilities with a proven track record of meeting deadlines without sacrificing quality.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in project management and teamwork.
- Capability to evaluate and manage technical risks and challenges.
Responsibilities
- Serve as an internal consultant and design architect for SAP solutions within specific modules.
- Collaborate with IT peers, Functional Architects, and Business Analysts to harmonize business processes with solution design, utilizing the capabilities of SAP modules.
- Oversee the complete systems development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to the implementation of various functional architecture solutions.
- Convert comprehensive business process requirements into SAP configurations.
- Provide guidance on the management of configurations and testing across the SAP environment.
- Work together with Functional Architects and Business Analysts to ensure seamless end-to-end process integration and coherence.
- Assist in identifying enhancement opportunities to standardize and improve processes and system configurations that align with customer-centric objectives.
- Develop, prototype, test, and implement solution improvements to boost stability, usability, and functionality for end users to achieve business goals.
- Lead and support project initiatives aimed at expanding the use of the SAP solution to enhance and broaden processes throughout the enterprise.
- Comprehend non-SAP business systems and their interactions with SAP and help manage those systems as part of an overall solution portfolio.
- Deliver functional support and leadership to our SAP User Community, including interaction with third-party support providers, defining SOPs, gathering business requirements, documenting functional designs and specifications, and directing enhancements.
- Research and analyze both basic and complex issues surrounding our business processes and systems.
- Mentor both business and functional team members to enhance their SAP competency.
- Adhere to company policies and safety regulations while performing all duties.
- Carry out other responsibilities as necessary.
