- Define and take ownership of the enterprise IoT platform vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and growth targets. - Establish a clear technical direction and reference architecture across devices, connectivity, cloud, data, and platform services. - Translate the strategy into a comprehensive multi-year platform roadmap balancing scalability, security, speed, and cost-efficiency. - Guide decisions regarding the development, procurement, and partnerships for platform technologies and ecosystems. - Lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of a secure, scalable, and resilient global IoT platform. - Ensure seamless interoperability and reuse across products, regions, and business units. - Set and uphold engineering standards related to architecture, quality, cybersecurity, data governance, and regulatory compliance. - Oversee platform reliability, performance, lifecycle management, and operational readiness. - Build, lead, and expand a global IoT platform engineering organization across various regions and disciplines. - Define the operational model, governance structures, roles, and working methodologies for platform teams. - Attract, nurture, and retain top-tier engineering talent while fostering leadership and succession planning. - Create a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team. - Collaborate closely with Product Management, IT, Operations, and regional teams. - Empower product and solution teams by delivering stable, reusable, and well-governed platform capabilities. - Serve as the face of the organization with partners, customers, and industry groups, representing our platform and IoT initiatives.
