Requirements
Must:
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational abilities
- Self-motivated with a demonstrated capacity to work independently
- Experience in configuring and maintaining firewalls and routers (familiarity with Netgate PfSense is highly advantageous)
- Proficiency with desktop operating systems, including Windows and Mac OS
- Familiarity with server operating systems such as Windows Server and Linux
- Experience with desktop applications, including Microsoft Office 365 and Teams
- Knowledge in managing virtual hosts and machines
- Competent in troubleshooting hardware and software compatibility issues
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience in banking is beneficial but not essential (e.g., Branch Manager, Teller)
Responsibilities
- Provide general IT support to clients through phone, email, remote tools, and in-person interactions
- Engage with clients who possess various levels of IT knowledge, requiring patience and excellent interpersonal skills
- Address complex software and hardware issues that require analysis and in-depth research
- Maintain and support our three data center locations as well as internal technology and communication systems
- Manage project tasks as needed
- Set up, configure, support, and troubleshoot general IT infrastructure, including servers, PCs/laptops, routers, firewalls, and printers
- Respond promptly to client support inquiries and follow up on unresolved issues
- Investigate and replicate client issues, coordinating with software development personnel to provide effective solutions
- Record client issues and their resolutions in our CRM system
- Deliver training and installation support at client locations across the country (10-15% annual travel)
