Requirements
Must:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- Bachelors degree in computer science or a related discipline is preferred.
- At least seven (7) years of experience in delivering enterprise web applications using ASP.Net/C# and responsive web design.
- Proficiency in Azure stack web development and distributed system architecture.
- Familiarity with messaging patterns and the .NET modern ecosystem.
- Strong knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly React, and Node.js along with standard tools (Linting, Webpack, Babel, ES6, JS Typing, Prettier).
- Substantial experience in Azure application security, hosting strategies, and containerization.
- Advanced understanding of Azure core services, such as Azure functions, Service Bus, AKS, Stream Analytics, SQL/Cosmos DB, etc.
- Background in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is highly advantageous.
- Profound knowledge of distributed systems concepts and Domain Driven Design (DDD).
- Advanced familiarity with Azure DevOps, pipelines, CI/CD, and feature flags.
- Proficient in Git-based workflows and quality practices with a shift-left approach.
- Willingness to occasionally work evenings or weekends as needed.
- Potential travel may be required on occasion.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop Azure-based, cloud-native web applications using ASP.NET Core and React, mentoring team members along the way.
- Lead the technical direction for implementing REST APIs through an Event-Driven Microservices Architecture, ensuring stability and reliability of communication among all dependencies, both internal and third-party.
- Identify and mitigate technical debt by pinpointing areas for code and infrastructure improvement; enhance existing systems for superior performance.
- Continuously refine CI/CD processes utilizing YAML pipelines and GitHub Actions within Azure DevOps and GitHub Enterprise Cloud.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and security protocols among fellow developers.
- Take part in agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to ensure team alignment and progress toward shared objectives.
