Requirements
Must:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in IT Security
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in Cloud Technologies
- Proven experience in managing SIEM solutions
- Familiarity with endpoint and email security solutions
- Background in security incident management and reporting
- Extensive knowledge of networking/web, phishing/cyberattacks, and incident response
- CISSP, cloud security, and other security-related certifications preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication, planning, analytical, and organizational skills
- Availability to occasionally work evenings or weekends as part of an on-call rotation
Responsibilities
- Conduct research, testing, implementation, optimization, and maintenance of security products and services to counter current and emerging threats, facilitated by effective change management.
- Develop, maintain, and support processes aligned with the IT Security Framework, including incident management, cloud risk management, and cloud security.
- Serve as an escalation point for security issues and spearhead forensic investigations.
- Identify and investigate actual or potential information security breaches, conducting follow-up investigations and providing written reports.
- Collaborate in application and infrastructure projects to ensure security planning and execution.
- Create dashboards and metrics that encompass incident reporting and risk management reporting.
