Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in a technical field or over 10 years of relevant professional or military experience preferred.
- Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
- At least seven years of practical experience in architecting, designing, and developing large-scale, cloud-based software solutions utilizing Agile Methodology.
- Strong skills in designing and constructing applications with ASP.NET Core and modern cloud technology paradigms like containers and serverless.
- Minimum five years of development experience in C# .NET with expertise in ASP.NET Core.
- Proven track record in architecting highly available systems featuring horizontal scalability and resiliency.
- Experience in designing, building, and overseeing release systems, code management, CI/CD workflows, and configuration management.
- Proficient in Domain-driven Design (DDD), Event-driven architecture, and communication.
- Familiarity with Microservices and Micro-frontend architecture, as well as distributed systems.
- Competence in ASP.NET Core, RESTful APIs, and API Management.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure Integration Accounts, and Azure Stream Analytics.
- Knowledge of container platforms and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Understanding of Identity and Access Management, Azure AD, Azure AD B2C, and OAuth2.
- Proficient in Azure SQL, NoSQL, and Azure Table Storage.
- Experience with Azure IoT, ARM templates, DevOps pipelines, and CLI scripts is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud monitoring tools like Azure Log Analytics, Azure Monitor, and Application Insights.
- Preferred experience in Enterprise Architect modeling.
- Experience with D365 CRM, React, or Progressive Web Apps (PWA) is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust, cloud-native applications on the Azure platform, implementing new technological paradigms such as microservices, serverless architecture, and containers using core services including Azure Functions, AKS, Azure Service Bus, and Stream Analytics.
- Provide technical direction to feature teams during design, assist developers throughout implementation, and support DevOps during the deployment phase.
- Establish and define cloud application architecture, evaluate technical design feasibility, and conduct product design reviews with engineering leads and team members.
- Become a domain expert by identifying, analyzing, and addressing weaknesses in system design, such as scaling impediments, domain issues, and application conflicts.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to create innovative solutions and optimal design patterns for highly available and resilient applications.
