Requirements

Must:
- Minimum of 3 years of professional software development experience with strong expertise in C#/.NET and SQL Server. - Proven experience in creating production-grade REST API integrations, including: - OAuth - Secure handling of secrets - Comprehensive error management including retries and rate limiting - Familiarity with API contracts. - Knowledge of Git and CI/CD methodologies. - Preferred: Familiarity with Encompass Next Gen APIs and SDK, as well as experience in the mortgage or financial services sector. - Proficient problem-solving abilities combined with a practical approach to project delivery. - Excellent communication skills for interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Capability to take initiative on tasks and deliver consistently in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

- Design and implement integrations utilizing Encompass Next Gen APIs, incorporating secure authentication methods like OAuth, as well as effective error handling and resiliency practices. - Engage in modernization projects to transition outdated Encompass SDK workflows to API-based services when possible. - Develop and maintain service-to-service integrations, ensuring proper logging, monitoring, and operational readiness. - Create and support software solutions and RESTful APIs using the Microsoft technology stack (C#, ASP.NET, .NET/.NET Core, SQL Server). - Build and sustain integrations and enhancements surrounding the Encompass LOS, which includes custom services, APIs, and data flow management. - Collaborate on requirements gathering, document technical designs, and clearly communicate potential risks and dependencies. - Produce clean, maintainable, and testable code while participating in code reviews to uphold engineering standards. - Create and manage automated testing (unit, integration, UI as applicable) to minimize regression issues. - Diagnose and resolve issues across development, QA, and production environments.
