Requirements

Must:
- Previous experience as an IT Help Desk Technician or Field Technician - In-depth knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software - Basic understanding of networking principles - Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Maintaining a professional demeanor at all times - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Capable of working in a team environment while also demonstrating independence - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic workplace - Eagerness to learn new technologies and stay updated with industry standards - Experience with Active Directory and Office 365 is a plus - Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft) are advantageous - Related post-secondary education or college degree is beneficial

Responsibilities

- Provide exceptional customer support at both Tier 1 and Tier 2 levels to internal users requiring assistance with applications and IT hardware - Conduct troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and relevant inquiries - Identify, assess, troubleshoot, and resolve issues to minimize recurrences and helpdesk calls - Escalate unresolved problems to higher-level support staff - Log details of all tasks performed, time spent, and resolution steps via the Ticketing System promptly after each incident - Follow up with users to confirm complete resolution of their issues - Deploy, install, and manage computers and other devices per corporate guidelines - Play an essential role in the onboarding process, ensuring new team members are set up promptly - Assist in monitoring and maintaining an inventory of all company hardware and software - Perform related duties as necessary
