DevOps CI/CD Engineer

- Experience in building, standardizing, and maintaining multi-stage pipelines (build/test/scan/deploy) across various services and environments. - Expertise in implementing build automation, artifact versioning, tagging, and promoting environments (feature branches, trunk-based, release branches). - Proficient in provisioning and managing infrastructure using Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation; ensuring drift detection and modular practices. - Skilled in managing build systems, runners, caches, and artifact repositories (e.g., Docker Registry, Nexus, JFrog Artifactory). - Ability to incorporate metrics, logs, and traces into pipelines; establish SLOs (e.g., build success rate, mean time to restore, change failure rate). - Experience with integrating SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, container image scanning, SBOMs, secret scanning, and policy-as-code (OPA/Conftest). - Knowledge of constructing and optimizing container images; deploying to Kubernetes or cloud PaaS with progressive delivery methods (blue/green, canary, feature flags). - Competence in enhancing local development workflows, ephemeral environments, and inner-loop tooling (pre-commit hooks, build caching, test parallelization). - Expertise in right-sizing runners, tuning caches, pruning artifacts/images, and optimizing pipeline execution time and cloud resource usage. - Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation for build and deployment systems; actively contributing to post-incident reviews and subsequent corrective measures. - Familiarity with CI systems such as TeamCity, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, CircleCI, Azure DevOps, and Buildkite. - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) along with infrastructure as code (Terraform preferred). - Basic knowledge of containers and orchestration tools, specifically Docker and Kubernetes or equivalent deployment solutions. - Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (Python, Bash, or Go) for automation and tooling purposes. - Solid grasp of Git workflows, branching strategies, and semantic versioning principles. - Experience in integrating security scanning and quality checks into CI/CD pipelines. - Understanding of monitoring/metrics tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) and log aggregation technologies (ELK/Opensearch). - Openness to receiving constructive feedback to enhance skills and capabilities. - Flexibility to adapt to company needs and project deadlines that may require extended work hours. - Commitment to adhering to company policies and positively supporting managements decisions and objectives.
