Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred. - Extensive experience in Azure cloud services and Microsoft 365 administration and support. - In-depth knowledge of cloud computing technologies and their business implications. - Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation tools. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of functioning under pressure in a fast-paced environment. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal capabilities, with a talent for conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. - Minimum of 15 years of experience in information technology. - Over 10 years of hands-on experience in Azure engineering. - At least 5 years of experience with Microsoft 365 administration. - Proven experience in conducting migrations to Azure or Microsoft 365 environments. - Desired experience in supporting federal or regulated environments. - Experience collaborating effectively with security teams. - Preferred certifications include Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305) and Microsoft 365 certifications (MS-100/101 or equivalent). - Familiarity with hybrid environments such as Azure AD / Entra ID synchronization.

Responsibilities

- Manage and oversee solutions within the Azure cloud ecosystem. - Support and maintain the Microsoft 365 suite, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive for Business. - Collaborate with IT security teams to enforce security best practices across Azure and Microsoft 365 platforms, ensuring adherence to federal security policies. - Provide technical guidance on cloud architecture and deployment methods, aiding in the creation of innovative solutions tailored to agency needs. - Perform regular system audits, monitor performance, and maintain systems to ensure optimal functionality and reliability. - Assist in the transition of applications, data, and services to Azure and Microsoft 365, aiming to minimize downtime and ensure a smooth process. - Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, attend meetings, and supply regular progress updates on projects.

This position is vital in providing support to our federal agency client, combining expertise in cloud computing and system administration. The ideal candidate will play a key role in deploying, managing, and refining Azure cloud services and Microsoft 365 applications to fulfill the agencys needs. This hybrid role requires on-site visits to our clients Washington, D.C. location once a week, promoting close teamwork and alignment with program objectives. We offer competitive compensation ranging from $130,000 to $135,000 annually, along with opportunities for professional growth and development.
