Requirements
Must:
- 7+ years of professional software development experience
- Proven ability to maintain and enhance existing production systems
- Strong full-stack or backend-focused engineering expertise
- Proficient in Go (Golang) or quick to learn
- Experience in building and utilizing RESTful APIs
- Hands-on familiarity with AWS, including Lambda or similar serverless technologies
- Knowledge of SQL databases and relational data structures
- Strong grasp of software architecture, modular design, and industry best practices
- Proficient in Git and collaborative development practices
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Proficiency with Microsoft tools required
- Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, capable of prioritizing multiple tasks under tight deadlines
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance an established production codebase
- Implement new features and address bugs across frontend and backend services
- Optimize the usage and costs of AWS services
- Collaborate with IT to manage and operate our AWS infrastructure
- Enhance build, deployment, and CI/CD pipelines
- Support API development and integration across various services
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
