Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred)
- A minimum of 3 years in a technical sales or marketing role
- In-depth knowledge of RF and wireless communication technologies
- Proven experience with Fixed Wireless Access, network repeaters, and LTE infrastructure
- Strong grasp of user devices, Radio Networks, and Core Networks
- Familiarity with common communication protocols (TCP, UDP, ICMP, etc.)
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication abilities
- Willingness to travel within the US
- Prior experience as a Field Application Engineer or similar technical position (preferred)
- Experience in troubleshooting cellular infrastructure issues (preferred)
- Skilled in using high-speed data communication test tools (preferred)
- Capability in debugging cell coverage, APNs, SIMs, terminal programs, and power supplies (preferred)
- Strong customer interaction and relationship management skills at engineering and senior executive levels (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the integration of Airgain technologies into new customer systems
- Conduct site surveys, both remotely and on-site
- Utilize radio planning software such as iBwave or Ranplan to generate installation and coverage plans
- Set up and assist with Airgain connectivity demonstrations of our network repeater product
- Collaborate with customers to gather their requirements and liaise with local service integrators
- Partner with Airgain design engineers to fulfill customer specifications
- Deliver technical presentations and training sessions to both internal and external stakeholders
- Identify and document field issues for troubleshooting
- Support Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and contribute to sales and marketing strategies and execution
