Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors Degree in a Technical Field with at least five (5) years of experience in Quality Assurance within the automotive OEM sector, preferably in brake systems, although experience with other safety-critical products is acceptable. - Minimum of 8 years of professional experience or a combination of education and experience that equates to this requirement. - Required corporate-level experience at the tier I level. - Proven experience in a quality role related to mass production, new model launch, or warranty sectors. - Expertise in managing prototype quality and pre-production setup through a quality gates methodology. - Proficient in handling large data volumes and creating tools for data processing across multiple locations. - Flexibility to adapt to dynamic work demands with minimal notice to satisfy customer needs and deadlines. - Experience in improving products/services by addressing issues in new systems/processes. - Willingness to travel over 50% of the time based on seasonal cycles, program timelines, and product quality status. - Proficient with Toyota quality systems such as EQPR, SQIDS, SWCS, SKIP, and SPIMS. - Familiarity with key systems from the Big Three, including GQTS, PRR, PRTS, QWIK, SWIFT, SIM, and SVM. - Competence in developing detailed timelines, tracking systems, and correspondence. - Ability to juggle multiple competing deadlines proficiently and professionally. - Skill in engaging effectively in teams made of colleagues, subordinates, and management. - Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal, with others within different departments and external entities. - Knowledgeable in various quality frameworks including APQP, ISO 9000, TS 16949, Six Sigma, and more. - Proficient in MS Office Suite, MS Project, MS Access, and other electronic software and devices. - Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred but not mandatory. - Preference for TS 16949 Lead Auditor certification and certifications related to Heat Treatment and Welding.

Responsibilities

- Ensure high-quality mass production of brake systems and components by validating product quality during customer trial events and evaluations. - Collaborate as the primary quality contact for assigned programs related to ADVICS products at customer assembly plants, facilitating face-to-face communications with suppliers and clients. - Oversee and drive new product evaluations during various reviews and trials, coordinating efforts with other engineers and management. - Generate necessary internal and customer documentation to support program development and maintain detailed databases for tracking progress and issues. - Monitor project schedules using customer and supplier planning tools while providing technical assistance to customer Quality and Production Engineering teams. - Conduct quality audits to assess supplier readiness in collaboration with Senior Engineers or Managers. - Facilitate quality improvement initiatives across all ADVICS North American manufacturing facilities by communicating customer requirements and driving improvement measures. - Communicate effectively across all ADVICS
