Requirements
Must:
- Proven expertise in VMware virtualization technologies
- Significant experience with operating systems including Windows, Linux, and Oracle
- Practical knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
- Understanding of VPN configurations for secure network access
- Proficiency in programming languages including Java, Python, Bash (Unix shell), and Shell Scripting
- Strong grasp of SQL databases, particularly Oracle
- Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and automation tools
- Capacity to manage virtualized environments in a rapidly changing setting
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a focus on security best practices across all platforms
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications utilizing programming languages like Java, Python, Bash (Unix shell), and Shell Scripting
- Oversee and enhance cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure, ensuring optimal availability and performance
- Set up and manage virtualized environments leveraging VMware and operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and Oracle
- Create and execute database solutions utilizing SQL and Oracle databases to fulfill application data requirements
- Integrate security measures like VPNs to protect data transfer across networks
- Work alongside DevOps teams to automate deployment pipelines and refine continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes
- Monitor system performance, diagnose issues, and implement updates or patches for peak operation
- Engage in code reviews, documentation, and testing to maintain quality standards
