Requirements
Must:
- Over 20 years of experience in enterprise GIS architecture within the utilities sector.
- Mastery of ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise ecosystem.
- Proficiency in ArcFM Desktop, Designer, Mobile, Web, and Responder OMS.
- Expertise in spatial data modeling and managing enterprise geodatabases (Oracle/ArcSDE).
- Proven ability to architect integrations with OMS, SAP, Maximo, CIS, and SCADA systems.
- Strong foundation in solution architecture frameworks, enterprise patterns, and hybrid-cloud environments.
- Successful track record in leading global, multi-stakeholder GIS transformation initiatives.
- Exceptional skills in executive communication, stakeholder management, and facilitating discussions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and direct the enterprise-wide GIS architecture strategy for multi-commodity utilities (Electric, Gas, Steam).
- Architect, modernize, and enhance large-scale GIS frameworks, including ArcGIS Enterprise and the ArcFM Solution Suite.
- Supervise the technical delivery of ongoing projects, upgrades, and modernization workflows.
- Conduct architecture evaluations, solution assessments, and impactful consulting engagements.
- Facilitate design workshops, roadmap meetings, and governance discussions across teams.
- Drive enterprise data modeling initiatives, including Utility Network migration strategies.
- Design and execute integration strategies across vital IT/OT systems (OMS, SAP, Maximo, CIS, SCADA).
- Perform health checks, optimize performance, and enhance architecture in ArcFM.
- Assess and refine current GIS/functions and prioritize technical backlogs.
- Create business process models to enhance operational efficiency.
- Oversee Utility Network and ArcFM modernization projects from evaluation to execution.
- Establish scalable and reusable integration frameworks and architectural guidelines.
- Translate highly technical ideas into straightforward executive-level narratives.
- Guide phased deployment strategies across various regions and departments.
- Ensure technical governance, maintain roadmap oversight, and align with enterprise objectives.
- Mentor engineering teams and promote cross-functional decision-making.
- Support both on-premise and hybrid environments, including troubleshooting and performance engineering.
- Draft Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for significant implementation and migration initiatives.
- Maintain architectural consistency, compliance, and long-term maintainability in all solutions.
