Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- At least 5 years of experience as a Systems Analyst on successful large-scale IT projects
- Proficient in software engineering methods and techniques for designing, developing, and supporting IT solutions
- Strong ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Experience troubleshooting system defects and issues
- Ability to design quality control and testing procedures
- Competence in configuring, testing, and debugging software using established processes
- Strong skills in gathering and assessing client requirements
- Experience in project documentation and meetings facilitation
- Proven track record delivering projects within scheduled timelines and budgets
- Familiarity with performance evaluation tools and testing methodologies
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to gather user requirements, analyze business needs, and create detailed technical design documents
- Assess user needs and software requirements to gauge design feasibility considering time and cost limits
- Work with project managers, developers, and database administrators to design systems and ascertain project constraints and capabilities
- Analyze system design, coding, testing, and the maintenance of software applications such as MECOM and FES
- Develop logical and physical database structures, managing application objects in Oracle/MSSQL using JPA/Hibernate
- Create test cases using Junit/TestNG to validate business functionalities and database operations
- Set system performance standards based on load and performance testing results
- Monitor implemented or upgraded systems for potential issues
- Provide structured analysis of business processes
- Act as a technical consultant or researcher and evaluate technologies and methods
- Contribute to project planning and activity definitions
- Manage communications and coordinate activities among project stakeholders
- Assist in drafting procurement documents and evaluating proposals
- Provide status reports to project management regularly
