Requirements
Must:
- Over 10 years of experience in enterprise network engineering, with extensive knowledge in LAN, routing, switching, and protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, IS-IS).
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Demonstrated leadership abilities along with exceptional executive communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong financial stewardship capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, standardization, and governance of global LAN and routing architectures, encompassing data center switching, campus LAN, and site connectivity.
- Define resilient designs utilizing routing protocols to ensure secure and scalable traffic flows.
- Produce reference architectures, detailed design documents, and technology roadmaps for enterprise implementations.
- Oversee the advancement and optimization of enterprise routing protocols to ensure stability and scalability.
- Collaborate with operations teams to troubleshoot and optimize complex routing scenarios for high availability.
- Assess and implement next-generation routing and switching technologies, including SD-Access and advanced WAN solutions.
- Create thorough design and testing documentation, ensuring enterprise readiness through rigorous validation.
- Serve as the technical lead on projects, validating designs and mitigating risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with Network Operations to ensure network stability and improve production through incident leadership.
- Introduce automation and analytics to enhance network maturity and proactively detect anomalies.
