Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 7 years in Information Technology, with at least 5 years specializing in Information Security Engineering
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS security services and contemporary CSPM tools (experience with Wiz is highly advantageous)
- Solid understanding of Vulnerability Management systems, Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) tools, and DLP engineering
- Bachelors degree in a technology-related discipline or equivalent practical experience
- While we value experience over certifications, qualifications such as CISSP, CCSP, AWS Security Specialty, or GIAC are excellent indicators of your expertise
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Architecture team to implement automated security guardrails in AWS, ensuring secure and scalable deployments
- Act as the primary engineer for our Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) platform (Wiz), operationalizing findings, prioritizing risks, and working with DevOps teams for issue remediation without disrupting builds
- Engineer and uphold Identity and Access Management (IAM) roles and policies, striving towards a Least Privilege model
- Oversee the entire Vulnerability Management lifecycle, shifting from basic scanning to intelligent prioritization to ensure critical patches are applied promptly
- Manage and refine our Endpoint Security solutions to enhance detection accuracy and minimize false positives, ensuring resilience against malware and ransomware
- Lead the development of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) controls, identifying sensitive data flows and creating policies to prevent data exfiltration while enabling legitimate business activities
- Collaborate with development teams to implement Product/App Security best practices to identify security vulnerabilities early in the software development process
