Requirements
Must:
- Masters degree in Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a similar quantitative field
- At least 10 years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related area
- Minimum of 7 years in leadership and team management roles
- Strong strategic thinking skills with a dedication to innovative marketing strategies; extensive knowledge of direct mail and digital marketing analytics
- Solid technical foundation in predictive modeling, statistics, and data visualization with experience leading teams through change and innovation
- Hands-on experience in direct marketing, digital campaign optimization, experimental design, A/B testing, and marketing media attribution models
- Advanced academic training in non-parametric statistics, resampling methods, or Bayesian techniques for small sample analysis
- Familiarity with sequential testing or multi-armed bandit methodologies to maximize insights in marketing
- Advanced skills in Python, SQL, and marketing technology platforms such as DataRobot, Adobe Campaigns, and DataBricks; proficient with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
- Understanding of automation tools and technologies, including workflow automation and AI-driven solutions; skilled in automated reporting systems
- Excellent persuasive communication abilities for interfacing between technical and non-technical audiences; proficient in presentations for executive leadership
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement data and analytics strategies aligned with product and company objectives
- Lead the creation of customer segmentation and propensity models to improve marketing effectiveness
- Oversee cross-channel campaign analysis, set KPIs, and enhance marketing ROI
- Act as the main liaison between data teams and marketing partners, converting technical insights into practical business strategies
- Mentor and manage Data Scientists, Analysts, and Engineers in a collaborative, innovative setting
- Partner with Analytics Engineering to build and sustain reliable, compliant data pipelines
- Establish testing frameworks and A/B experiments to enhance customer experiences and marketing performance
- Create dashboards and reports to track product performance and key metrics
- Lead the identification, design, and execution of automation solutions, including generative AI, throughout data and marketing workflows, focusing on efficiency and strategic activities
- Investigate and understand innovative tools available in the market to support organizational transformation and enhance sales and profitability
