Requirements
Must:
- Actively enrolled in a university program pursuing a Bachelors, Masters, or PhD degree in Computer Engineering or a related field in the United States during the entire internship
- Expected to graduate between December 2026 and June 2027
- Available from May to August 2026 OR June to September 2026
- Proficient in C/C++ and/or Python
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles and API design
- Interest in model fine-tuning, evaluation pipelines, and prompt optimization
- Familiarity with prompt engineering and OSI layers/protocols such as TCP and HTTP
- Nice to have: Experience with LLM frameworks, such as Hugging Face, vLLM, or OpenAI API
- Self-motivated with a desire to learn across AI and Proxy domains
Responsibilities
- Design and implement prompt classification solutions
- Integrate prompt classification into Layer 7 workflows
- Contribute to tools for fine-tuning, model orchestration, and optimization of inference performance
- Collaborate with machine learning engineers on prompt evaluation
- Prototype and deploy features that connect models to production-level systems
Description
We are a forward-thinking company seeking a Software Engineering Intern to bridge ADC technology and AI-based processes. This 12-week, full-time on-site internship will take place at our San Jose, California office, providing opportunities to work on impactful projects that align with our mission. Our dynamic team operates at the intersection of software engineering and AI, using C and Python for high-performance backend development. Interns will gain valuable experience and mentorship from engineers dedicated to innovative ADC solutions in the AI landscape, all while enjoying a collaborative and fast-paced work environment. Compensation is up to $65 per hour.
