Requirements
Must:
- 1-3 years of experience in business intelligence, reporting, analytics, data support, or a related field
- College diploma or university degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or a similar discipline
- Familiarity with BI or visualization tools like Dundas BI, Power BI, Tableau, or comparable platforms
- Basic to intermediate skills in PostgreSQL and comfort with structured data and databases
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to validate data accuracy and spot discrepancies
- Good problem-solving abilities and eagerness to learn new systems, tools, and processes
- Excellent organizational skills and follow-through, capable of managing multiple tasks in a small team
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development, upkeep, and testing of dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Dundas BI and related tools
- Help with SQL queries, database updates, data validation, and scripting related to reports
- Troubleshoot issues associated with dashboards, reports, and data, including refresh failures and quality concerns
- Document data sources, calculations, business rules, report logic, and technical dependencies to facilitate knowledge sharing
- Support approved reporting requests and improvements based on specified business needs and internal priorities
- Maintain standard reports and dashboards, identifying when requests exceed standard scope
- Participate in testing and quality assurance before changes to reports or dashboards are implemented
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to comprehend reporting requirements and convert them into practical outputs
- Assist in cross-training initiatives within the team to minimize reliance on a single subject matter expert
