Requirements

Must:
- 1–3 years of experience in a technical support or helpdesk position, showing a strong desire to advance into senior systems administration - Proven troubleshooting abilities for Windows and MacOS systems, with some knowledge of iOS and Android platforms - Practical experience with Microsoft 365 and basic understanding of Microsoft Entra ID and Exchange Online; familiarity with MDM (Intune) and iOS support is a plus - Strong documentation skills for ticket management and asset tracking, with the ability to adhere to strict security and user administration procedures - Availability for in-office hours from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM M-F, and willingness to participate in an on-call rotation for field operations that occur seven days a week - Outstanding interpersonal skills and patience to assist non-technical users confidently with technology - Capability to remain at a workstation for extended periods while being able to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds - Proactive inclination to stay informed on current IT trends and a commitment to maintaining A1 Garage Doors standards

Responsibilities

- Manage the user lifecycle by onboarding and offboarding staff, including account creation in Microsoft Entra ID Directory and email setup in Exchange Online - Prepare, configure, and deploy computers and mobile devices (iOS/Android) for new employees to ensure they are operational from day one - Serve as the primary responder for IT support inquiries, addressing hardware, software, and connectivity issues via phone, email, and in-person - Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all company assets, tracking equipment from deployment through retirement - Oversee asset management by managing hardware inventories, tracking swaps, returns, and warranty services, and documenting all work in tickets - Contribute to our internal Knowledge Base (KB) with comprehensive documentation of support activities and solutions
