Senior Business Analyst

- Serve as a key liaison to capture, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders - Maintain ongoing communication and translate needs between business and technical teams to foster a mutual understanding - Produce comprehensive yet clear requirements and process flows for both business and technical teams - Develop, organize, and maintain wiki content using various markup languages for better accessibility and knowledge retention - Ensure the quality of documentation by applying standards, best practices, and version control across wiki content - Identify documentation gaps and suggest improvements for continuous enhancement - Lead backlog refinement sessions to ensure user stories are in a Ready state with clear details and acceptance criteria - Collaborate with project teams and analysts to elevate story quality and prioritize work - Participate in Agile ceremonies such as Planning, Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives to support iterative development - Assist ORS Product Owners, Business Analysts, and associated teams in project efforts - Provide research and insights for developing Statements of Work (SOW) and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for chosen solutions - Assist with System Security Plans (SSP) as needed - Research and contribute to the creation of SEM documentation - Participate in artifact reviews with peers and various specialists to ensure adherence to policies and standards - Aid in designing and documenting IT solutions that align with State of Michigan standard technology - Collaborate with Project Managers to draft change board documents - Support the development of training materials - Design, develop, and execute test plans for applications or subsystems - Create or gather test data and perform approved tests to validate program logic - Maintain and update system documentation for system enhancements - Review UI/UX design artifacts and understand core design and usability principles
