Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of 3 years experience as a Business Analyst
- At least 3 years experience in Quality Assurance
- Minimum 3 years familiarity with Azure DevOps or a comparable tool like JIRA, including creating epics, features, and user stories, as well as managing project lifecycle tasks
- 3 years experience with the roles and responsibilities of BA, QA, and DEV, including proficiency with BA tools such as FIGMA and Visio
- 3 years experience in defining as-is and to-be processes, along with content creation and developing product roadmaps
- Minimum of 3 years experience using Project Management Methodologies, specifically Agile
- A Bachelors Degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required
Responsibilities
- Collecting and documenting business requirements that are precise, clear, and verifiable while ensuring they align with organizational policies and standards
- Leading requirement gathering sessions to identify affected business processes and capturing project business needs
- Maintaining project schedules by developing and managing the project backlog during Agile initiatives in collaboration with the Product Owner to prioritize tasks
- Grasping project scope and actively overseeing the requirements process to meet established project goals
- Comprehending information governance objectives and ensuring all relevant stakeholders are involved or informed regarding data requirements
- Addressing critical IT issues appropriately
- Analyzing information to aid in Build vs. Buy project decisions
- Recognizing project-specific benefits and assessing the impact of changes to project scope or business requirements
- Ensuring the completion, review, and approval of SEM deliverables are in line with established processes
- Collaborating with project teams, including UI/UX Solution Architects, Database Administrators, Developers, and QA Testers to guarantee a shared understanding of requirements, functionality, size, and scalability of the IT solution
Description
We are seeking a Business Analyst III to join our team in Lansing, MI. Initially, this position will start fully onsite before transitioning to a hybrid schedule. As a W2 contract role, we will not consider candidates from 1099, C2C, or third-party companies. In this role, you will play a crucial part in communicating business needs and system functionalities to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, while also serving as the Scrum Master using the Azure DevOps tool.
