IT operations and field support specialist

- Oversee IT operations by creating and managing user accounts as well as access in Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 - Assist with password resets, configuring multi-factor authentication, and resolving basic access issues - Organize user access, ensuring compliance with established standards regarding groups and shared resources - Set up, maintain and provide support for Windows laptops and desktops (and occasionally mobile devices such as iPads) - Keep a detailed inventory of computers, printers, and office technology including configurations and locations - Enforce and audit security measures, such as multi-factor authentication and full-disk encryption, ensuring prompt resolution of related issues - Manage mobile device enrollment and administration using a Mobile Device Management (MDM) approach - Support staff with common technical issues concerning logins, printing, and workstation configurations - Travel to other offices as necessary (approximately 25%) to provide on-site aid and facilitate office setup changes - Maintain our internal knowledge repository, ensuring it remains practical and current - Develop straightforward guides and conduct brief 10–15 minute walkthroughs for newly introduced tools or workflows - Enhance the reliability of Google Sheets workflows by fixing formulas, adding validation, and reducing potential breakage - Assist in small automation tasks to eliminate repetitive work (training and guidance will be provided)
