Requirements
Must:
- BS or MS degree in engineering, software development, or a related technical field.
- Over 2 years of experience in applicable technical areas (e.g., application engineering, software/hardware development, or testing).
- Familiarity with industrial automation products and applications.
- Self-driven with a strong focus on delivering results and resolving issues.
- Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.
- Capacity to collaborate with customer-facing teams to grasp user workflows and needs.
- Ability to effectively interact with colleagues across various levels.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally occasionally (less than 5%).
- Understanding of the product development life cycle and methodology.
- Experience with agile practices, test methodologies, and engineering best practices.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with System Test team members to establish and implement system-wide and product-specific test scenarios aligned with customer workflows.
- Analyze customer problem reports aiming to replicate and address issues alongside Development teams.
- Document test outcomes within the testing management system.
- Develop and maintain thorough documentation of test protocols.
- Communicate progress and status updates to the System Test team manager.
- Liaise with the System Test team manager to stay informed about current project backlogs and upcoming initiatives.
- Provide assistance and consultancy to Development teams regarding testing as necessary.
- Cultivate and sustain effective relationships with customer-facing team members.
- Adhere to defined processes within Factory Automation and local R&D units.
- Propose and implement enhancements to testing processes, scope, and resources.
- Automate testing processes wherever feasible to boost efficiency.
