Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Over 10 years of professional experience in Linux system administration or system software development
- At least 5 years of experience in developing or supporting system software in diverse, multi-platform environments
- Advanced knowledge in SE Linux configuration including policy development, MAC labeling, security contexts, MLS FreeIPA, and MLS networking
- Strong skills in Bourne/Bash and Expect scripting
- Proven experience in debugging Linux kernel issues through source code examination, system logs, and tools like crash and systemtap
- Experience in managing Satellite repositories, applying patches, and building custom kernels
- Proficiency in automating system setup and maintenance with Ansible and Satellite Server
- Familiarity with identity management systems such as LDAP and token-based authentication
- Active TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance required
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, and maintain integrated Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and SE Linux MLS configurations across systems, networks, and storage
- Implement and oversee Mandatory Access Control (MAC) policies, security contexts, and least-privilege access frameworks
- Collaborate with DevSecOps automation teams to deploy SE Linux MLS configurations tailored to site-specific requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve SE Linux policy, kernel, and system-level concerns
- Diagnose Linux kernel issues through source code reviews and system logs, utilizing tools such as crash and systemtap
- Manage Satellite repositories to apply updates and create custom kernels addressing functionality and security needs
- Automate configuration, updating, and maintenance tasks using Ansible and Satellite Server
- Ensure identity and access integrations are established using LDAP and token-based authentication protocols
- Work closely with security teams to confirm RMF, RTB, and related security protocols are achieved and documented
- Verify that high-speed networking and InfiniBand fabrics function correctly with MAC labeling and MLS controls
- Maintain system performance while adhering to MLS and security standards
- Modify existing scripts or software to rectify errors and enhance performance
- Provide technical assistance to staff and end users regarding deployed configurations
- Adhere to best practices in software engineering, documentation, and secure system architecture
