Requirements
Must:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of experience in IT help desk support
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience troubleshooting Windows
- Comfortable providing Tier 1 support via various channels (tickets, phone, email, chat)
- Knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems
- Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Understanding of common networking protocols: DHCP, DNS, VPN, SMTP
- Reliable transportation for onsite visits (mileage reimbursed)
- Availability for occasional after-hours support and on-call rotations
- Must successfully pass background and drug screening
*Bonus Skills*
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Knowledge of network management tools (UniFi, Cisco Meraki)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash)
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 support through tickets, phone calls, emails, and chat interactions
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on both Windows and macOS systems
- Manage user accounts and devices within Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace
- Set up Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions and perform workstation upgrades
- Conduct basic network troubleshooting, focusing on TCP/IP fundamentals
- Accurately document issues and solutions for future reference
- Communicate effectively with clients about next steps and resolution timelines
- Travel to client locations for onboarding, network troubleshooting, and project support (mileage reimbursed)
