Requirements
Must:
- Extensive experience with the Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, Hive, Spark)
- Proficient in PySpark for distributed data processing
- Advanced programming capabilities in Python
- Practical knowledge of Apache Kafka for real-time streaming
- Frontend expertise with Angular (TypeScript, HTML, CSS)
- Proven ability in designing scalable, secure, and high-performance systems
- Familiar with microservices, API design, and cloud-native architectures
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Over 9 years of experience in software development, with at least 4 years focused on architecture and Big Data technologies
- Experience in BFSI domain or large-scale enterprise systems is preferred
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance standards is advantageous
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Capable of thriving in a dynamic, agile environment
Responsibilities
- Define the comprehensive architecture for data platforms, streaming systems, and web applications
- Ensure compliance with enterprise standards, security protocols, and regulatory requirements
- Assess new technologies and recommend integration strategies
- Design and implement data ingestion, transformation, and processing pipelines utilizing Hadoop, PySpark, and associated tools
- Optimize ETL workflows for handling large-scale datasets and real-time streaming
- Integrate Apache Kafka to facilitate event-driven architectures and messaging
- Develop and maintain backend services using Python within a microservices framework
- Create dynamic, responsive frontend applications employing Angular
- Implement RESTful APIs to ensure seamless integration between various components
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and DevOps teams
- Mentor less experienced developers and data engineers
- Engage in agile ceremonies, code review processes, and design discussions
