Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- Over 5 years of relevant experience in IT project management, specifically with VOIP solutions on the 3CX platform
- More than 5 years of experience working with SonicWall and/or Fortinet firewalls
- Familiarity with Ubiquiti Networks switches and wireless access points
- Advanced expertise in Windows server operations, Hyper-V, VMware, Azure AD, and network configurations
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, VMware Certified Professional, CCNP, NCE) are highly preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong leadership and problem-solving capabilities
- Previous experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment is a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, management, and execution of comprehensive IT projects, including server updates, VM migrations, and network setups
- Design tailored IT solutions that meet client specifications, focusing on VOIP telephony solutions within the 3CX framework
- Oversee the management and migration of files to various cloud platforms, such as Azure AD, SharePoint, and OneDrive
- Install, configure, and maintain wireless access points, switches, routers, and other essential network components
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, ensuring excellence in technical support and client satisfaction
- Direct the installation and configuration of VOIP telephony systems on the 3CX platform
- Develop and sustain detailed project documentation, regularly updating the Project Coordinator on progress and challenges
- Collaborate closely with the Project Coordinator for scheduling, stakeholder communication, and project status updates

In this leadership position, you will be instrumental in overseeing our Project Deployment function, collaborating with a Junior Project Engineer to deliver diverse client-facing IT initiatives. Our projects range from advanced server infrastructure and cloud migrations to contemporary network solutions, providing an excellent chance for you to apply your technical skills while mentoring teammates. This full-time role allows for evening and weekend flexibility as projects demand and primarily takes place in our office, with occasional travel to client sites.
