Requirements

Must:
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field preferred - Minimum of five (5) years of experience with a degree or eight (8) years of equivalent experience - Minimum four (4) years of experience in a leadership role - Knowledge of Attack Sensing & Warning operations and defensive cyber workflows - Familiarity with quality control processes, ticket management, and analyst performance assessment - Expertise in reviewing and enforcing operational documentation and protocols - Proficiency with Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Manual (CJCSM) 6510.01B - Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills - Ability to maintain composure and make sound decisions under pressure - Must meet Department of Defense (DoD) 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level III certification requirements

Responsibilities

- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for AS&W during live incident response, ensuring near-real-time quality oversight - Maintain precise documentation, campaign notes, and operational updates across Regional Operations Centers and analysts - Mentor and provide professional growth support for Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) Watch and DETECT team members - Facilitate communication and policy alignment among regional operations center analysts and incident responders - Oversee the continuous enhancement of operational processes and procedural documentation for ROC functions - Collaborate with training teams to develop, implement, and sustain role-based training programs - Ensure quality assurance for DCO Watch outputs, including threat hunts and detection evaluations - Identify and mitigate operational and programmatic risks - Lead cross-functional teams and prioritize tasks across service areas - Participate in meetings with internal and external stakeholders to guarantee the delivery of high-quality products on schedule - Work with customer organizations to refine operational processes and enhance overall customer experience - Align organizational procedures with customer policies and relevant directives - Conduct regular on-site evaluations of personnel and team performance at regional operations centers - Accommodate short-notice global travel requirements as mission needs arise - Delegate training priorities to the Service Area Training Lead for execution of enterprise training initiatives - Serve as the key liaison for surge support coordination between DETECT and DCO Watch teams - Act as the Trusted Agent for all Red Team operations
