Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree
- Experience in a client/student service role
- Geographic proximity to the service region
- Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
- High degree of professionalism, including punctuality, preparation, and presentation
- Exceptional presentation and communication abilities
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Google applications, and Instagram
- Demonstrated enthusiasm and initiative with the capacity to work independently
- Openness to learning and self-reflection
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team
- First-generation college graduate from low-income backgrounds preferred
- Alumni of 10,000 Degrees scholarships preferred
Responsibilities
- Offer support to students and families regarding financial aid and academic/career planning.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions for participants in 10,000 Degrees programs.
- Manage a specific caseload or group of students.
- Engage in on-campus outreach activities.
- Foster and nurture relationships with school staff, community partners, program participants, and families through meetings, workshops, and social media.
- Participate in ongoing professional development sessions, team meetings, weekly supervisory discussions, and special events/trainings (potentially in the evenings).
- Ensure accurate and updated student files/data, and generate program reports for evaluation.
- Travel regularly within assigned regions to school campuses, 10,000 Degrees offices, and event locations.
- Advocate for and represent 10,000 Degrees at fundraising and appreciation events.
