Requirements
Must:
1. 6+ years of Data Warehouse and ETL experience is a must have.
2. Expert knowledge in SQL is a must have.
3. Good understanding and experience on Data Warehousing and Data Integration architectures is must have.
4. Expert with data warehousing standards, strategies, and tools.
5. Strong knowledge of relational databases preferably Azure SQL Server, and Azure SQL Pools.
6. Project experience with building SQL SSIS Packages.
7. Project experience with developing SQL Triggers, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, and Db Views.
8. Experience with Azure Data Factory and Data Bricks.
9. Experience with Azure DevOps is a plus.
10. Experience with MS Power BI development.
11. Should have prior experience with Atlassian suite of products (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket).
12. Experience with CI/CD, DevOps and agile delivery model.
13. Python experience is good to have.
14. Prior Logistics/Warehouse industry experience is preferred.
15. Very good written and oral communication is required.
16. BS degree in technology, software development, or business intelligence.

Responsibilities:
The DWBI tech lead /architect will play a key role within the DWBI team and is expected to provide technical leadership related to the data architecture and provide technical solutions to accommodate business needs. This person will closely work with Business Analysts, the Product Owner, and the development & QA team and is responsible for developing data pipelines, data models, ETL packages and SQL code for the data warehouse and Power BI. The DWBI tech lead will help the product owner to make Go/ No-Go decision with software releases. Other responsibilities include:
1. Architect and execute the company’s enterprise data warehouse & Power BI solution
2. Architect, normalize, and maintain integrity of company’s single source of data truth
3. Manage day-to-day development activities for new data solutions and troubleshoot existing implementations.
4. Work with product owners and business leads to lead technical discussions, provide technical solutions, and resolve technical issues.
5. Apply best practices of data integration for data quality and automation.
6. Solve complex data integration and ETL problems.
7. Work with project team and technology partners to develop designs and development sizing estimates.
8. Collaborate with the BI Dev team members to evaluate, design, develop BI reports and dashboards according to functional specifications while maintaining data integrity and data quality.
9. Work with business analysts to understand business requirements and use cases in order to write and assign technical stories and tasks.
10. Work independently within guidelines, responsible for initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and implementation of projects using a formal project management and agile methodology.
11. Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to translate business information needs into well-defined data requirements to implement the BI solutions.
12. Analyze and resolve problems and provide technical assistance as necessary.
13. Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, influencing, prioritization, decision- making skills.
14. Oversees the full lifecycle system development process.
